A number of sentence enforcement agreements have been signed with various countries. On 13 August and 26 October 2009, the President of the Special Court designated Rwanda as the state where SCSL's Convicted Persons would serve their sentences. SCSL Convicted Persons were transferred to Rwanda on 31 October 2009.
